Toilets Are In, Grout is Complete!

We're making some serious progress on the completion of the bathhouse. All the tile is laid and grouted, including the baseboard around the bottom of the wall. That was a lot of work :) It's a several step process that I've found very enlightening.

1. mud and lay down backerboard to create as much of a level surface as possible
2. mud and lay tile on top of the backerboard with spacers and allow to dry.
3. grout in between tile
4. wipe clean numerous times
5. lay baseboard tile along wall with some white substance that I can't remember the name of
6. allow to dry
7. grout baseboard
8. wipe clean numerous times
9. the last step is to seal the grout so that it keeps out as much dirt as possible and doesn't crack.
10. wipe clean and look at finished product!

So it's been an intense experience but we are almost finished...we're to step 9!

Also, the sinks and countertops were completed on the second side of the bathhouse. Not to mention all the plumbing necessary to make sure those drained properly and were connected up everywhere they needed to be! Sinks are ready to go!

Finally, Jason set the toilets in and started working on the plumbing underneath to make sure everything works correctly! We have one stall that is regular width and one that is ADA compliant that means the bathhouse will now be accessible to the disabled.

Praise the Lord for His continued provision for materials and finances and labor to complete this project!
